The last discussion I had regarding the pinup, I realized that I do need to simplify my concept to a more refined version of the collaborative mash up. My newest version is a simple modulation of sound using reverb component as a tool to synthesize a collaborative sound mash-up. With two collaborator stations, and and a third input which may be a predetermined beat, as in the diagram above, the users make sound which gets modulated through my software to produce a delay and reverb effect, turning their sound into a loop. The two results mix together to produce something new based on offsetting pulses of sound.
I am struggling with generating a visualization for this, or whether I even need one. I could use a sound activated sensor, or a microphone which would periodically pick up sound and modulate that into a looping mix.
I am also wondering if I should create an interactive installation, or if it could be tested and produce results which would be documented.
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
