Analogue - Electronic Orchestra - Bitsource

My thoughts for the analogue of the online social mixing web site "inadaba.com" is to simply extract the sites ability to create mash-ups digitally based on someones product. The device which would be set up in different locations in a building, would extend a recording device which would interface with a monitor and a button, which would start the recording. With three devices, recording intervals of social activity, I then would take the data produced from the device, then transcribe the data(mp3) to midi information. My mixing software would then allow me to take the data, and create loops, synthesizing the sound of a violin, a cello and a flute. The aim is to simulate a classical trio.

The user would approach the device, activate it, and view the previous recording. Instructed to add to the previous recording, the user would make some sound. The data would then be translated from a remote computer, to produce a new result for another user.
