Just to be clear about the information I am transcribing, the waveform is a digital reproduction of sound. The midi file is a datum of the information in the waveform. The midi file is a low resolution, highly precise file which is very useful editing software. it is open source and can be inserted and read from almost any platform. It is a low bitsize file
